Are you aware of Section 179 and the benefits and deductions you can use for your business?
Section 179 Deduction is available for most new and used capital equipment, and also includes certain software. Bonus Depreciation can be taken on new equipment only (no used equipment, no software) When applying these provisions, Section 179 is generally taken first, followed by Bonus Depreciation – unless the business has no taxable profit in the given tax year. MRC gives back during the holidays!

This holiday season MRC will partner with a San Diego non-profit New Alternatives to bring you the MRC Holiday Giving Tree.  Little Italy San Diego has partnered with New Alternatives to do the Holiday Toy Drive for foster children the last few years and last year MRC joined in lending some extra support, so we can provide specials gifts for these children and teens who would have minimal, if any, gifts during the holidays.

 

MRC was so amazing  last year, so many kind hearts and wonderful gifts for the Foster Children. We will be again collecting gifts children ages (0-18) both boys and girls this year, New Alternatives has sent over a wish list with what the children would like our holiday tree will feature these,  however these are just a guideline request and anything would be appreciated.. MRC SD will have a tree in lobby next to Amanda’s desk by Thursday for you to put your gifts under.  Please make sure gifts are unwrapped and that you bring your gift in by no later than noon Tuesday, December 17, so that we deliver all the gifts with ample time for them to be distributed to the kids. 

 

New Alternatives, Incorporated (NAI) is a private, nonprofit corporation that was founded in San Diego, California in 1978. The mission of New Alternatives is  to provide culturally competent and family focused services to child victims of abuse, neglect and abandonment. The population served are some of San Diego's most vulnerable children.
